Description
Pen & ink, watercolors, acrylics, on Arches 140 lb cold-press watercolor paper, 2013. About 18" x 14".
I did this idea as an oil painting, first, in 1989. The painting was bought by a hippie restaurant I was working for at the time (Nearly Normal's Gonzo Cuisine, in Corvallis, Oregon -- great place to work). For a while, now, I've been thinking about doing it again, because I still like the idea, and I've learned a bit about my craft since 1989. Here it is.

Daily Deviation! I'm still recovering. I'm normally a hermit, and all that sudden attention kind of threw me. But I want to thank most sincerely, here, ensoul, who suggested it, and Astralseed, who featured it. And I want to thank the many many people who made the very kind comments, and those who favorited the work, and those who featured it in groups.

I had this saved as my cell phone wallpaper for a while. Excellent work.
